Munich, Germany – Bayern Munich suffered a surprising defeat against BATE in the Champions League earlier this week, but the club will try to get back on track in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Bayern was perfect in all competitions before the 3-1 loss in Belarus, but has started six-for-six in league play as it tries to end a two-year title drought in the Bundesliga.

Although the Champions League loss for last season's runner-up was a surprise, it was important to turn the page, said chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

"I think it's important we're not knocked off course by a single defeat," said Rummenigge. "It's important we react at once against Hoffenheim on Saturday, give an immediate response, and show our Bundesliga rivals that Bayern may have lost a match tonight, but aren't wounded by it."

Bayern could be without Arjen Robben, who remains out with injury, and Franck Ribery, who could also miss the match.

With striker Mario Gomez and defender David Alaba still out through injury, it will test the depth of the Bayern team. Bayern could be without four players who were starters last season.

"We'll keep our cool and not abandon our plan," said Bayern defender Holger Badstuber, "we know what we're capable of."

Hoffenheim has two wins and a draw to go with three losses, and sits mid-table after six matches.

Schalke hosts Wolfsburg on Saturday after a 2-2 tie against Montpellier in the Champions League on Wednesday. It was a game Schalke probably should have won, but it has to focus to the league, where he has three wins and two ties.

"We should have taken our chances and won the game. Our problem was keeping hold of the ball and we didn't finish the game well," said Schalke coach Huub Stevens. "It is unthinkable to allow the opposition to come back into the game on the counterattack.

"In the Champions League, you get punished immediately."

Also Saturday, Freiburg hosts Nurnberg,Cheap Nike Air Max  Greuther Furth hosts Hamburg and Mainz hosts Dusseldorf.

On Sunday, two-time defending Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund travels to Hannover. Dortmund almost pulled off a huge win against Manchester City in the Champions League, but settled for a 1-1 draw Wednesday.

Dortmund still hopes to build on the result and get help from Hoffe to close a seven-point gap on Bayern. Hannover is eight points off the top. Also Sunday, Monchengladbach hosts Eintracht and Stuttgart hosts Bayer Leverkusen.

On Friday, Tobias Werner, Stephan Hain and Daniel Baier scored as Augsburg won 3-1 over Werder Bremen for its first win of the season.
