Lincoln-Way Central (3-3, 2-2 Southwest SuburbanBlue) at No. 3 Lincoln-Way East (6-0, 4-0)
After upending then-No. 1 Bolingbrook last week, Lincoln-Way East looks to keep its momentum going Friday in Frankfort against Lincoln-Way Central.
The Griffins are seeking their 21st consecutive conference victory dating back to 2009. Both teams boast steady defenses, with the first-place East also atop theconference for fewest points allowed (66). Central (90) ranks third, just ahead of Bolingbrook, after holding opponents to 15 points the last three games, including seven in a losing cause to Sandburg (5-1, 3-1).
Offensively, the Griffins are led by Northern Illinois-bound quarterback Tommy Fuessel, running back Nick Colangelo and receiver Justin Corbett. The Knights, Nike Air Max salewho have not defeated East since 2001, will rely on running back Kyle Wayteck and quarterback Cale Hayes.

No. 6 Marist (6-0, 4-0 East Suburban Catholic) vs. Notre Dame (4-2, 2-1)
Chris James and the Notre Dame Dons will try to do something at No.6 Marist on Friday night that hasn't yet been done.
When the East Suburban Catholic Conference teams clash at 7:30 p.m., the visiting Dons will try to give the RedHawks their first loss.
Chris James is the featured running back for the Dons, who lost to Nazareth 21-6 last week at home. Notre Dame now has to face Marist, which is playing just its third and final home game of the regular season.
The RedHawks' offense is led by senior quarterback Ian Woodworth and 6-foot-5 junior receiver Nic Weishar, a Big Ten-caliber recruit. Hard-running junior fullback Peter Andreotti also is highly productive for a Marist offense that overshadows a talented, stingy defense.

The 2012 installment of this growing rivalry was scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. tonight at George Harding Field in Woodstock.
Since 2003, when Ed Brucker took over at Marian Central, the Broncos own a 9-6 advantage in the series. The teams have made a habit in recent years of meeting in the playoffs, with the Broncos ending the Hurricanes' season in each of the last three years.
The three-time defending Class 5A champions lost to Marian Central 21-20 in the regular season last year, but recorded a 52-27 triumph in a state quarterfinal.
But the Hurricanes have one of their deepest teams in the last few years, built around quarterback Chris Streveler. The ultra-competitive Minnesota recruit has thrown for 1,241 yards and 13 touchdowns, and rushed for 515 yards and 12 touchdowns. Streveler has yet to throw an interception in six games this year.
Marian Central's defense hasn't allowed more than eight points in all but one game this year -- 38-28 win over McHenry in Week 2 -- and recorded two shutouts.
