On Wednesday's Google+ Hangout, Times Lakers writer Mike Bresnahan and Clippers writer Brad Turner, discusses the slow starts by both teams, the Steve Nash injury, limiting Kobe Bryant's minutes, and the interaction between Steve Blake and a fan the other night.

Bresnahan tells everyone why, if Blake wanted to yell at a fan, he chose the wrong person.

As Eric Pincus wrote the other day:

"After getting fined $25,000 by the NBA for inappropriate language directed toward a fan, Steve Blake met with the fan and his father, longtime court-side ticket-holder Steve Jackson, at the team's practice facility on Tuesday.

"'We got a chance to speak and talk about the situation.' Air Max 95said Blake. 'I just let him know that I was sorry for the way I acted. I didn't handle myself the way I wanted to. We were able to talk and hopefully build a relationship off of that.'

"Video of the incident can be seen here.

"Blake noted that he got caught up in the moment, frustrated the Lakers were losing their third-straight game to start the season.

"'It was an emotional game for me,' he said. 'It was a spur-of-the-moment bad decision.'

"Blake said he wasn't happy with the fine but said he understood why the NBA levied it.

"'That's not what I want to be known for,' he said. 'They are great people and they didn't deserve that type of interaction.'"
